Hokies Beat ECU 17-10,"Nailbiter"

I read an article today about Virginia Tech's tough 17-10 victory against East Carolina University. ECU came out in the first quarter and took the lead scoring a touchdown to put them up 7 to nothing. Tech had multiple chances in the first half to score including a missed 30-yard field goal attempt by Cody Journell. However with under a minute left in the first half, Journell hit a field goal to make the score 7-3 going into half-time with the Hokies still down. However the Hokies came out of the half and scored a touchdown bringing the score up to 10-7 Tech. Then ECU countered with a field goal that tied the score. The Hokies eventually pulled out another touchdown to bring the score up to 17-10 where the score would stay for the remainder of the game. Virginia Tech's defense and offense played really well today and showed, in my opinion, that they are not going to give up no matter how bad it seems. Congrats also goes out to Frank Beamer on his 200th Hokie victory today.
